Kaiser's was founded in 2020 to bring the nation's once most-loved dessert back to life and reinvent it. Our dream was to create quick and affordable moments of indulgence for everyday life, with a product that combines tradition and innovation. Kaiser's® is the first and largest Kaiser'schmarrn chain.

With the idea of establishing Kaiser's® as an open show-cooking concept, customers can watch their Kaiser'schmarrn being prepared live and choose from a wide range of varieties that didn't exist before Kaiser's®. With every new location, we've been able to refine our processes, speed up preparation, and offer even more innovative variations.

From the very beginning, Kaiser's® has clearly focused on Kaiser'schmarrn in its many variations, without ever losing sight of that focus.
- 2020
Kaiser's is founded
Kaiser's was founded in 2020 to bring the nation's once most-loved dessert back to life and reinvent it. Our dream was to create quick and affordable moments of indulgence for everyday life, with a product that combines tradition and innovation.
- 2021
Kaiser's opens its first location
We couldn't wait any longer. Despite the coronavirus pandemic, we opened our first Kaiser's location at Donau Zentrum in Vienna. The start was tough, but it was worth it.
- 2022
Kaiser's opens its third location
The first location is doing well given the circumstances. But it's clear to us: to be noticed in the market, we need to become better known. Together with two business partners, we open further locations in Linz, at Plus City, and in Lower Austria at the SCS.
- 2023
Kaiser's grants franchise licenses
Little by little, our product and our system win people over. Inquiries pile up. We take the leap into franchising. All our savings go into the franchise manual, franchise agreement, and consulting.
- 2024
Kaiser's opens its 10th location
We keep growing — steadily, but not too fast. Many existing employees take the step into self-employment and open their own Kaiser's location. We close the year with 10 locations.
- 2025
Kaiser's expands into Germany
We keep moving toward Germany, and in March 2025 we open our first German location in Munich. We're completely overwhelmed by the response. Now it's time to optimize the system and protect the brand.
- 2026
Kaiser's opens its 30th location
Our expansion in Germany continues. From Munich to Berlin, and from Cologne and Essen to Bremen. Slowly but surely, we're building density and close the year with 30 locations.
- 2026
Kaiser's expands into Switzerland
By chance, we meet a special person who helps us bring our brand and product to Switzerland for the first time. In March 2026, we open our first location in Spreitenbach.
